SL-free 74
The SL-free 74 in 165, 170, and 175cm lengths available for pre-order will be delivered towards the end of January.
The SL-free 74 in detail
The SL-free 74 is a high-performance ski designed for groomed trails and icy conditions. Slightly oversized compared to typical slalom skis, it’s built to link tight, dynamic turns while remaining playful and easy to initiate. It delivers control, precision, and confidence to the skier—whether at low or high speeds.
When skied with a more aggressive style, the SL-free 74 responds with intensity, power, and a well-balanced rebound at the end of each turn. This new model features a construction that includes a maple wood core and two layers of aluminum reinforcement, providing excellent edge grip and stability.
The ski comes equipped with Tyrolia PRD 12 bindings, known for their safety, reliability, and ability to ensure maximum energy transfer between the boot and the ski.

Composition

Carbon fiber: Perfect for high-end and touring skis, carbon fiber offers an excellent lightness/rigidity ratio, ensuring skis that are light on the ascent and solid on the descent.
Fiberglass: While fiberglass is not as rigid as carbon fiber, it does offer greater strength. Strength lies in a fiber's ability to resist breaking under the weight of a load. This is why this fiber is the preferred choice when it comes to providing strength and durability to skis.
Bio-sourced epoxy: Entropy Resins' bio-based Super Sap epoxy uses renewable materials, offering performance equivalent to traditional resins with reduced environmental impact.
Bio-sourced topsheet: The 50% bio-based topsheet, made from renewable materials and 20% recycled materials, is made with castor oil, ensuring exceptional durability and waterproofing.
Stiffness profile
To achieve excellent grip on the piste, ice and firm snow, it is essential to optimize torsional rigidity properly to obtain the desired snow behavior. With the SL-free 74, the two aluminum reinforcements allow to obtain this desired rigidity, which combined with the maple wood core, make the ski very dynamic on piste. The flexural rigidity is well balanced over the length of the ski, and controlled to obtain a precise ratio previously calculated between torsional rigidity and flexural rigidity. Elements which together, with the geometries, give a performance piste ski that is easier to ski and offers increased control.
