The Five Best Snowparks: According to Our Ambassador Lucas Rey-Sierro
If, like Lucas, you’re passionate about park skiing and looking for new places to progress, here are his favorite spots where he loves to push his limits and test new tricks.
1. Bromont (Quebec, Canada)
Bromont is a classic in Quebec, and it's truly one of my favorite places to ride. The variety of modules and the park's layout make it a perfect playground for all levels. Whether it’s rails, boxes, or kickers, Bromont has everything you need to have fun and challenge yourself. This is where I particularly love testing my tricks, and the Zigzag 92 helps me ensure stable and smooth landings.
2. Saint-Sauveur (Quebec, Canada)
Saint-Sauveur feels like home for park lovers. The vibe is amazing, and the facilities are always well-maintained. With the Zigzag 92, I fully enjoy the modules while maintaining the stability needed for bigger jumps. This ski also helps me handle the impacts and maintain fluidity between each pass. Plus, the resort offers varied terrain, perfect for preparing for more technical parks.
3. Avoriaz (France)
Heading to France! Avoriaz is a must-visit park spot in Europe. The modules are often well-shaped, and the atmosphere is super dynamic. I particularly love the fluidity of Avoriaz's park, which allows me to chain tricks while enjoying the descent. This is where the Zigzag 92 really shows its potential: it provides enough mobility for the rails and stability for big jumps, even at high speeds.
4. Verbier (Switzerland)
Verbier is mainly known for its freeride terrain, but don’t underestimate its park. The setups are varied, with interesting lines that allow for a mix of park and freeride. The Zigzag 92 is perfect for this resort because it combines versatility and robustness. Between park runs, this ski is also excellent on the pistes and in the powder, which lets me make the most of Verbier.
5. Crans-Montana (Switzerland)
Last but not least, Crans-Montana. It’s an exceptional park spot, and I love riding here. The jumps are massive, and the rails are well-thought-out, offering challenges for all levels. Thanks to the Zigzag 92, I get all the stability and safety I need on the jumps, but also the flexibility to easily flow through the rails. This ski absorbs impacts effortlessly, and on top of that, it allows me to enjoy every descent between my runs.
Why the Zigzag 92 is My Park Ski Ally
For me, the Zigzag 92 is the ideal ski for the park. It’s stable on jumps and offers great mobility on rails, which is essential for progressing and having fun. Its robust construction absorbs impacts, even after several runs on the modules. What’s even more awesome is that outside of the park, the Zigzag 92 is still super enjoyable, making every descent smooth and dynamic.
